I'm applying as an undergraduate student.
I have been living in the US (Texas) for 12 years, and am fluent in English.
Even though Ive been living here for so long, I'm not a citizen here and am not a permanent resident. (I'm here with a VISA)

I called the schools I'm applying to such as (Duke, Cornell, USC, NYU) and they keep on giving me mixed answers.
For instance, I called USC three times and they all told me different answers. One person said I needed to take the TOEFL and that I was international. Another person said it was fine.

I'm taking the TOEFL just in case, but do you think I will be considered with the international applicants? or the domestic ones?

Your status will make you considered an international applicant. Some colleges will consider Canadians as domestic applicants. Don’t know about Toefl

From other posts I have seen from students in your position, you are considered an International for both admissions and financial aid purposes.

If you keep getting different answers when you call why don’t you try emailing. Often those answering the phones may not be an expert. I have found that when I am having difficulty getting a definitive answer an email will generally be answered by someone who actually knows the answer.
