<p>I applied bioenginnering as my first choice major to UCLA and I didn't receive a letter from the engineering department. According to other people this means I am rejected to the school of enginnering</p>
<p>For my second choice I applied to Biochemistry and molecular cell biology in the college of letters and sciences. I was wondering if the college of letters and sciences will look at my application and consider me for admission for my second choice.</p>
<p>Never listen to the rumor mill...people just like to talk and it usually isn't positive.</p>
<p>Just wait until you get OFFICIAL word from UCLA.</p>

<p>I told you...just wait for official word..quit trying to read too much into something and take for gospel what people are telling you..they don't know either.</p>

<p>Yup...it's only a little more than a week away. Don't panic yet. Just keep yourself busy...go out and party!</p>
<p>(That was way too optimistic at this point in time; however, it's been a very stressful time for all, and even more stressful for transfer students; thus, let the good times roll!!!)</p>
