<p>You do not have to be a legal resident to go to graduate schools in the United States, otherwise people wouldn't apply from overseas. He had a student visa for a long time but now my mom has that and he left. He got a Masters at Brown and Wisconsin, and then a PhD at Wisconsin also.
And my post never said he doesn't know English. I said that he speaks perfect English.
I would never lie or kid around to people I don't even know, especially about something as serious as this.</p>
