Yo

I am a Junior, I was a 4.0 freshman year. In sophomore year I got a B in Literature and Comp ( Pretty lame i know.)I bounced back with a AH in that subject and a 4.0. In Oregon they only allow us to take AP's sophomore year. So far I have completed AP Biology, and AP U.S. Government and politics (both with A's) Next year I plan to do AP Calc, AP Chem, AP U.S. Hist and AP Lang. . So what I want to know is am i screwed in that I have no shot at anyschool outside out of top ten. Something like Northwestern, cornell, or a UC?

My ec's are pretty weak:
Tennis Varsity (most probably all four years unless i get bored or somethin :p
NHS just joined sophomore year
KEy club
Starting to volunteer at hospital
Volunteering elsewhere

Which leads to my second question:

What summer programs have u guys (and girls) heard of? I know about the NASA SHARP program, and in my state we have science apprenticeship programs, but what do u know of?

Muchos Gracias ( pardon the simple Spanish)

YO u need more info on me?
come on tell meeee somethiiinnnngggg

Please people look

I think you are shooting high wit the colleges you listed (Northwestern and Cornell are VERY good), UC is a reach, you should apply to a couple state schools, if you are determined to get out of state scout out schools like Wes and Notre Da. Also make sure your recs and essay are good and I think you'll be okay.

yes!!! you are screwed, i mean whoever at top 50 colleges ever had a B in their whole high school career, god, that's horrible, ppl commit suicide because of A-, i mean seriously, i am surprised you haven't jumped off a building to try to kill yourself yet.

^don't worry dude, Bs are alright, and as for summer programs, i don't really know any, b/c i have only been to ssp

don't stress too much, you are a sophomore!

I'm from Oregon, too!! Where are you from?

And as far as camps go, check out National Student Leadership Conference. They have camps in several different areas. I attended one, and it was fantastic.
