I took 3 tests today: math II, bio, and chem in that order. I jumped the gun (by accident) on chem and the proctor stopped me right after I finished question 1 of chem. He then left the room for 15 minutes, came back, let me took the test, copied something in 10 seconds off my admission ticket(most likely a note for CB). I finished the test 3 minutes early and would hate for my scores to be canceled. I told him it was an accident and I though he said to begin.

If they do cancel my scores, will all my tests be canceled for that day?

What do you think will happen?

When you said you jumped the gun did you mean you started earlier? o-O
Cause if you did and he let you take the test..than i don't know why they would cancel your scores.

I tought the same thing too, until he took down my info at the end. Maybe somebody else has to decide to cancel or not.

Did you ask your proctor about it? because I think it would be mean of him to make CB cancel ALL of your scores. You did pay money and took effort to get ready for the tests..

Anybody else got opinions/experiences?

contact CB specifically in case something happens, threaten with lawsuits and stuff. Have your parents call, or have their lawyer call! It's bound to work..

Anybody got a toll-free number I can call?

I don't know if I should be arguing, especially since "debate_addict" says so.

lol!!
:p:p:p:p:p
I gotta tell u afruff, sth I've never told u...your name reminds me of my dog barking....

Hey, a thought just occurred!!
What if the note your proctor was writing was exactly that, namely him explaining that the whole gun thing happened at only that specific test...??

I didn't mean that you're dumb. I'm implying that somebody named "debate_addict" shouldn't be telling people to argue.

Anyways, he wrote a note in about 6 seconds from the paper, thought for 7 seconds or so, and then wrote something for 5 seconds that wasn't on the sheet. I don't think he could have wrote " This student started early on chemistry in 5 seconds". I don't know.

Do you think CB will change its verdict if my parents threaten them. I told my dad and he said that if even just my chemistry is canceled, "he will sue". I doubt that, but still it's a threat.

I was kiddin afruff!! :)
Chill!! SAT rush..you're justified :p

What if the guy didn't actually tell CB anything? I think I should wait and see if it got canceled before calling, no?

Probably. No use in jumping the gun......................................(wait for it)..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................again.

you have to relax, dude

Hey, I finally got my scores back after being flagged for a few days. I got 800 math II, 770 bio M, and 790 chem. I'm very satisfied with my scores.

Yay! /Joyousdayforyou./

I just received a letter today from ETS. before I opened it I panicked: "Did they decide to cancel my scores after all?". It said something along the liens that I only committed a minor infraction which did not seem to compromise testing integrity and to read the terms and conditions if I take a test again.

lolol you got REALLY lucky...my friend did something similar and the proctor didn't let him take the test

Oh man that sucks. I guess it all depends on the competency of your proctor. My proctor wasn't exactly the nicest guy ever either but at least he understood the procedures and still let me take the test.
