am i screwed?

<p>hey guys so i really dont know wether to apply early to penn even though its 100 percent my dream school simply because my stats are really bad.I Have a 90 overall gpa, and my sat 2's are insanely low, i have a 600 on math level 1 and a 600 on bio. I have trouble with standerdized tests and obviously penn wont care about that. However i do have ok ecs. </p>

<p>I also went this summer and helped really poor kids in ukraine which il be writing about in my essay. So some help guys!!!! i really dont know if i should waist my early and apply here because everyone is tellin me you def dont have a chance its not even worth, apply to nyu early. O and i took my act prob got mid 20s and sat taking in october. helpppp please</p>

<p>I would not write about helping poor kids in Ukraine in your essay unless you have a VERY unusual slant. That will not stand out as an essay topic and is one that has been overused for decades. You can do much better than that- not to diminish what you did, but it is not a compelling essay topic.</p>
