<p>I applied early to a VERY selective school. the deadline was Nov 1st and i got everything in. But my teacher who was doing one of my recs told me today that she "forgot" to send it in! she told me three weeks ago that it would be sent that week! How much will this effect my already slim chances?</p>

Well how many rec’s did this particular school require? If they required 2 and they only received just one then I would definitely call the admissions office on Monday and ask if it will be a problem. Also, some schools allow you to fax in the rec’s. I am sure they see this kind of thing all the time. What I did was ask for 3 rec’s for each school no matter what they asked for that way I was covered if one of my teachers forgot, got busy…whatever! Good Luck and I hope you get in! :)</p>
