<p>I'm considering transferring from ucsc to uci
i have really good grades [3.7 gpa], but i think im going to get a "NP" in one of my classes this quarter. is this going to ruin my plans?? :-/ or can i just make up the class in a different quarter? (this class was chem, but im not even a chem major, i just took it to fulfill GE)</p>
<p>Are you applying for Fall 2010 or 2011? If 2010, then there’s a pretty big chance that you will get rescinded. If you are applying for 2011, it wouldn’t hurt you too much if you retake it (still looks a little bad though).</p>

<p>It’s funny how the majority of CC’s UC-UC transfers are from UCSC. Seems like every relatively studious person from UC Santa Cruz is not happy here. </p>
<p>Anyways, with that GPA, you’ll almost definitely get into UCI. The NP will suck, but I don’t think it will have that big of an impact if you retake it for a better grade.</p>
