<p>it says a lot of things are recommended... among them isn't an essay... is there no essay for rochester? and also about the 500 word thing, if i don't keep my papers, that's a problem, what should i do?</p>

<p>That's a very Rochester-specific question and Rochester is not among the colleges that get tons of applications from people on this board. I agree with SrMom...ask them directly.</p>

<p>gotta include a paper of more than 500 words that's graded! that's ridiculous, i burn my stuff at the end of each year</p>
<p>i applied to rochester last year, and i used the common app and the supplement. the supplemnt had like 5 or 6 short questions, i think, and possibly a longer one. i dont like them, since they waitlisted be and their acceptance rate was somewhere near 45%, and a school with a near 12% acceptance rate also waitlisted me. but anyway... they've closed admission for fall 2006?????? that cant be right, can it?</p>
