Am i studying TOO much? o.0

@thuglyfe : Haha yeah i like dragon boat a lot, its fun, its hard, and did i mention its fun? ;D lol. How do you know what dragon boat is? Are you a fellow dragon boater as well? haha. Uhm I’m taking mines in october, and when school starts im also going to cut down the study hours, thats why im studying so much in the summer so i dont have to study during school. I have to manage all my school work, i have pre calculus this year so i’ll have to study for that because i plan applying for ap calculus.

There is no too much when it comes to studying.

u can always study more

I personally get too lazy to review explanations for whole practice tests if I do whole practice tests. I find it is better to just do 2-3 sections (if that) per day so that I’m not unmotivated to review explanations to questions.

That’s a lot of studying. Good luck. I never studied that much, but if you have the time, I don’t see how it’s a bad thing.

Well sometimes, studying CAN be bad for you haha, i’m REALLY REALLY REALLY x8 <– infinite, motivated to getting a good score on the SAT, i used to study like 5-7 hours(no joke) just doing practice problems but, then i cut down because my mom and dad was worried for my health lol. Also i did my regular C++ programming stuff because i’m planning on major in Computer Science at, UCD or USC but, i’m learning towards USC if i can get in, if not i’ll go with UCD if i make it.

holy mother of god. i barely study for the SATs :open_mouth:

on practice tests my scores have been:

730~760 math
640~650 writing
700~730 critical reading

you think if i start going hardcore now i will be ready by december/jan? i want to raise everything up so around a 2200 level

also what books should i buy? im taking a class but i think individual work is the most important at this point. gah i have too many things going on fmlfml

actually, the prep course I took last summer (for about a month) managed to raise my average score around 100 points (scale score).
BUT kudos to you for being hardworking! I just did a practice test every weekend and did some supplementary critical reading questions and essays during weekdays. I guess I did alright-ish. :/

You’re gonna waste your practice material before you improve.

As of late, i improved my math score by 110 points! yay :], i used to be like 530,now im 640 but, im not stopping there i plan on getting over 700 so i have to study more still.
