i checked most the threads and almost everyone is scoring 32+ i got a 27 on the ACT starting to think its terrible :S</p>
<p>The majority of the scores that actually get posted here are undoubtedly impressive. However, this board has thousands of members. Maybe those who didn’t do that good don’t feel comfortable showcasing their results among all these 2400’s/800’s/36’s? For example, I got 1830 on my first SAT and never posted it to the official thread. I’m going to redo it though, because this place has seriously motivated me :).</p>
<p>And 27 is a good enough score to get you in college. The American average is 21. So chances are, that you are not stupid.</p>
<p>CC is not representative of the larger population. The scores you’ll read here are significantly higher than national averages. While retaking the ACT after doing a bit of practice with some prep books might be a good idea, there’s nothing wrong with a 27.</p>
<p>CC is great for many, many things. But it is absolutely terrible for your confidence. Don’t let anonymous posts on the internet change the way you see yourself.* Take a look at the score ranges for the schools you are interested in, and you will see where your score falls. That is more helpful information.</p>

<p>yea that was my first thought when i got here. Everyone had like 2100+ SAT scores with like perfect GPA’s</p>
