Am I taking on Too Much?

Up till Junior Year I was a B + student in my classes. I took the most challenging courses (AP/Honors Classes (1 AP and 3 Honors Freshman Year, 3 APs and 3 Honors Sophomore Year) available. But when Junior Year came I completely tanked. I'm not exactly sure what happened I just completely tanked, and burned out. I became tremendously depressed and I just couldn't handle all the pressure (Grades, Social Life, Sports). My failure in my Junior Year was my on fault. I miscalculated how much I could handle, took on a massive load of work and in result I crashed and burned. My GPA is know at a deadly low point (2.88 UW, 3.3 W). As of now I'm just trying to calculate what my next move will be. Over the summer I've been trying to take some courses online (FLVS) in order to boost my GPA. I'm trying to retake the classes I "failed" in (I didn't necessarily fail these classes but I don't consider a "D" satisfactory.) The only problem with retaking the AP classes I didn't do well in is that I would not receive my Grade till the end of Senior Year (so it would seem pointless to even retake them online). So now I'm thinking instead of retaking the AP classes I didn't do well in (APUSH and AP Physics B) I could just take their Honors counterpart online over the summer (but the grade I earned in AP would still show). So I plan to take the following and finish them before application time:

These are all extra classes I am taking along with my regular 7 period classes in the fall-(but I'm trying to complete these classes in the summer)

AP Statistics (currently finishing)
Honors US History
Honors Physics
Latin I
Latin II
Latin III

Would I be able to finish all these classes online before application time? Would I be able to boost my GPA to say 3.2-3.3 UW?

It depends on the pace you work at. Yes, finishing those courses is doable. How many hours are the courses, about? How many hours can you put in during the summer? How many are you able to put in during school?

You should be able to boost your GPA, it just depends on how much work you’re willing and able to put in.

Keep in mind, you need to get at least a 3.7/3.8 in these glasses.

Where are you applying ? I don’t think you are looking at Harvard , right ? I’ m sure there is a perfect fit out there somewhere for you .

^OK. Thanks. The duration of each assignment for each class varies due to different subjects, but usually an assignment takes about 30 minutes to complete and there are around 150 assignments for each class (though this is just for the math/science courses I have been taking).

If I try to do well in all these classes what UW GPA can I attain?

^^@fauxmaven
I plan on double majoring in Film Production (screenwriting/directing) and English/Humanities (for a Pre-Law major just in case the whole Film thing doesn’t work out. I plan on applying to the following schools (in no particular order):

Bryn Mawr
NYU
Bard
University of Southern California
Florida State University
Wesleyan
Chapman
Oberlin
Occidental
Trinity
etc.

It sounds doable, though unless you’re a natural with languages I’m not so sure about Latin I-III…anyways I think your college list sounds good but with a 2.9 GPA you need to start really searching for more matches and safeties.
