<p>Ok..so im reallly excited about attending Stanfrod and meeting all these awesome peopl. However im scared that through CC and facebook and other stuff like that..that by the time i get there everyone will already have their friends and their own groups...anyone feel this way?</p>
<p>Not at all. Most of the people you meet on facebook and CC won't be in the same dorm as you. Also, I'm pretty sure that everybody in their first month is open to making new friends since it's such a big, new, exciting experience.

<p>Definitely! Please try not to worry. I made a bunch of Facebook friends before I got to Stanford, and I have never even MET the majority of them. (I eventually went through my account and deleted the people I was not actually friends with in real life.) I also met some great people at Admit Weekend; some I am still friends with, and others I have not seen since then. I think you will start making lasting friends once you get into your dorm. :) Don't fret!</p>

<p>Yea - it's not a problem. My gf last year made facebook friends before she even set foot on Stanford, and she rarely sees them. In fact, she rarely sees her admit weekend friends either. You'll come to hang with the people you have classes with, see more often, etc.</p>

<p>also, it's weird but my post count has decreased since yesterday. any idea why this happens.</p>
<p>fuzzy, sometimes threads get deleted or moved into the Cafe, and that makes your post count decrease.</p>
<p>I lost like 300 posts when the TPBM thread was moved to the Cafe a while back. Sad but true.</p>
<p>I applied, but I'm almost 99% sure I'm going to Stanford. There's this thread I like on the Harvard board.. it's so controversial and heated lol.</p>

<p>yeah i am more of 75% sure i am going to stanford..... there are some ups and downs to the school...but in the end i dont think any other school can give me as much aid</p>
