<p>Before especially during the year I used to worry about this issue unnecessarily then, when mentioned I wanted to die young I was in for a longg talk why I shouldn’t wish for something like that. Death is extremely scary. </p>
<p>I basically don’t want to grow up either. But it’s inevitable and all of us have to face it at some point in our lives. I’ll just age be aging ‘gracefully’ :)</p>

<p>OP I’m right there with you. I’m 20 right now and I want to be 21 my whole life. I feel like 21-25ish is the best part of life then its all down hill from there. What do people in their 30s do for fun? If it is what I think it is I’m going to be abusing substances just to get away from it.</p>

<p>When you reach 35 years of age or even older, life gets to be dreary and, sometimes, even dreadful. That’s what my dad said once when he got drunk. You get materialistic, since you’ve got a bunch of family members depending on you for bread, and you are not easily to be motivated to do something, or anything, because you’ve already seen too much and experienced too much.
I always hold the opinion that, when you get older than 35, your life is no longer yours. You live for your sons, your daughters, your parents, your family reputation, among many others. But you just no longer live for yourself. (At least it’s rare among people I know of) For me it’s better to die the death of Lord Byron, Galois or Pushkin, than live to an awful old age, when I cannot even take care of myself. :(</p>

<p>^ I agree. Seriously, if the best years of your life are from 20-25, you’re doing something wrong. Yeah, it’s awesome to be young but most 25 year olds have done so little. Embrace aging, don’t fear it.</p>
<p>Indeed… 17-20 year-olds claiming that they hope they die before they reach their 30s are rather naive… I wonder if they would hold the same opinion if they were closer to being 30+?</p>

<p>Stuff you can do in your 20s: Go to real parties, talk to girls in their 20s and not be creepy (20 yr old girl >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 30 yr old girl. just the way it is), not have any real responsibilities other than school (early 20s), still be able to look at life as if you have a chance to be somebody (once you’re in your 30s, your basically set in your ways), have infinite amounts of fun while still being poor</p>
