What are schools in the Emory Range…
( I only know of Vanderbilt, Rice, Georgetown)
^^^^^This is complety based on the rankings for schools by U.S. News
Emory -18th
Vanderbilt-18th
Rice-17th (Applied Ed, but I am from Texas, so geographic residence goes agaisnt me)
Georgetown-23rd

I would have less reaches and add schools like Tufts, UVA, Boston College, Wake Forest and some LACs.

ur a good applicant. by the law of averages alone you will get into at the very least 3 or 4 awesome schools.

^^^^^Thanks…awesome meaning that I will get into at least 1 ivy league/duke/stanford…or like slipper123 said schools like emory, vanderbilt…

Bump…

I think this is pretty good advice. Still, I don’t think your list as it is is too bad, as long as you’ve researched these schools. Your class rank may hurt you, but 3.8 UW is not bad; at a lot of high schools this would give you a much higher rank. If you’d be happy at A&M, it’s not imperative that you add more mid-range schools to your list.

i think it’s a good list, just make sure you write good essays to get ahead.

chance back?

Leadership, leadership, leadership…that’s the only thing missing in that stellar application. You probably have had leadership somewhere, just make sure you include it when you apply to those good schools.

If you can juggle all of those apps and continue doing well in school, I see no reason not to take the chance of applying to all of those schools. You have a safety in place, so why not give it a try. The only problem I see is that you really don’t seem to like your safety. Can you find a safety that will fit your desires more? Surely selectivity is not the only criterion for wanting a school?
