<p>I did not mean the title of this post as an insult, as my cousin went to Berkeley, but I would like an answer to whether or not I would fit in there. I am a white male, from Southern California. I have middle-left political views. I believe I am pretty popular, I played sports, and though I get solid grades, I would not say I am intellectual. But, I love the campus and the proximity of SF, and Cal wold provide me with a solid education (The neighborhoods cool, too, but I cant say I'm crazy about the bums) But I was wondering if you think I would survive or not at Cal. Thank you.</p>
<p>That's pretty much the average student at Berkeley too (well, except the average student would be Asian). It's not like only weirdos get into Berkeley.</p>
<p>Trust me, there are plenty of non-intellectuals here.</p>
