Am I totally done ...??

I have been reading some of the threads lately and I am getting really really nervous....that I won't get in :( My First choice is Tepper..

Here are some stats:

I am an international student and I only lived in Canada for 5 years now. So my SAT scores are TERRRIBLE.....

SAT reasoning: 1880...... I have really nothing to say :( so sad.....

BUT

TOEFL IBT: 120
SAT subject tests:800 on Math level 2 and 800 on Physics.
My GPA is 3.9 UW and I am an International Baccalaureate Student.
I got 7 on Mathematics SL and 5 on French SL exam last May and my predicted final score is 43/45

just by the stats..... does the 1880 just totally ruin my chances at Tepper and Carnegie Mellon as a whole?

and one last question is.. with the whole "we can choose up to 5 departments"
does that increase my chances at getting into CMU if I apply to two departments with my primary as Tepper and alternate as something less competitive?

Thanks.

how did u get predicted 43/45 wen u got a 5 in french.
does dat mean u got 7 in evrything else plus the 3 bonus points?

The alternate less competitive school might increase chances, if you do a good job demonstrating your interest in both schools/majors/departments in your essay, as they stated.

The SAT IIs are quite impressive, so that might pull some weight off the SAT Is. I guess we just wait and see? (WORST PART of the admissions process. Urgh.)

well you got a perfect on your TOEFL. If you got a high score on your math and a score lower than 600 in your CR, that TOEFL score will definitely help you. If your CR is over 600, then it kinda shows that you could’ve done better and that TOEFL score might not look as great. all your other scores look very nice though.
