am i totally screwed?

ok so just wondering if i have a shot at uva or other schools like it with these stats

3.9 weighted GPA
freshman, sophmore, and junior year took hardest courses
junior year took ap chem and ap us
senior year planning to take ap govt., ap english, ap calculus, physics, and language 5

my act will hopefully be around a 31 after june

You're going to have to give more informationt than that. Are you instate? What's your rank? What's your unweighted GPA?

No, not totally screwed at all! :-P
If you really did get a 31, then you'd be above the average ACT scores, and your GPA is great. The APs help a lot, too. UVA is one of the top 30 or so most competitive schools in the nation, but as long as your class rank is top 10%, you look like you have a good shot.

Here GPA doesn't tell us anything about her, knaufy.

im out of state, and i have lots of ecs.
im a really good golfer, i have lots of awards for it and am captain of the golf team, and do loads of independent research at a university (including recognition for it) . i also am involved in clubs, will have plenty of community service.
my unweighted will probably be around 3.8, maybe a little less.
im really worried because i know out of state is a crap shoot...

i think you have a good shot. apply ED if you really want uva

you worry too much, you know that you aren't "totally" screwed with a 3.9 gpa and the hardest courses you can take. Relax, you have a very good shot. Right good essays and u should be fine.
