The above post is completely inappropriate. Personal insults presented in a condescending manner help noone. jym: Don't you realize the irony in your posts?

Your EC's are very good.

Sorry but it appears you arent listening, Coldwind. Have a nice day.

To the OP:
I hope you can get your questions answered without being maligned for your choice of words.

I completely agree w/ jym.

As far as being competitive, you sure have a shot. I think it is impossible for us to determine just how good your chances are - we'll leave that to the admissions officers. What matters is that you are competitive; the acceptance rests on how you write your app, and of course what kind of person you are.

Colleges take academic performance in light of being a varsity athlete is what I heard. If you're in all those varsity sports, you're doing really well academically, and you do stand a chance.

Thank you, kernbons.

Tique,
You have certainly been quite busy, and I agree with those above who point out that if your varsity skills are needed by a schools such as Harvard, you, as a "package" can be quite attractive to them. It isnt every day that varsity athletes have SAT scores at the tippy top, so you are probably OK in that regard. Just remember that 90% of Harvard applicants dont get in. You are certainly a good candidate-- its just a tough competition. Good luck.
