--I know I have made several chances threads, I just feel like I am soooooooooo under qualified to even think of applying to these schools. Any feedback? Haha I guess I just am in need of some comfort. I am mainly worried about my really low score for these schools.

Brown (ED)
Amherst College
Penn

^^Top Choices^^

Have safeties...and am applying to USC, Vanderbilt, and possibly NYU.

I would appreciate ANY AND ALL feedback please.

Bump!!!

You have a chance at all of them, but I’d say your best bet would be Vanderbilt.

BUMP BUMP!!!

Thanks trhutchins!

I’d say you’re close enough to give all of them a shot. You never know…

Thanks man…I’m going to. I need to stop worrying over it…just gotta let it be.

Being Native American definitely helps.

Your ECs are fantastic…your GPA and ACT not so much.

Nonethless, Brown LOVES minorities, so I think you have a shot at brown, and a better shot at all the others

return the favor?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/801399-please-chance-super-indecisive-individual.html

Big Bump!! I chanced you back too. Thanks! Anymore feedback? PLEASE?!

You’ve definitely got a shot because of your ethnicity. Your ECs aren’t bad either. I highly recommend you study up and retest either the SAT or ACT in December. If you get those scores to a respectable level you could probably go somewhere great. (33-36) and (2100+)

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/801251-chance-anglo-saxon-hero-ivies-tier-1-schools.html

I probably will take the ACT again in december, however, I do not know how much my score will improve. I have issues with the math section haha

eh no worries. Math is one of those skills that is truly all about practice. My SAT math score went from 660 to 750 with probably 5 hours or so of practice and studying the day prior to my second examination (you just need to learn the format of the test.) You can do it!! Best of luck!

Any more pieces of advice?!

I want Brown ED SOOOOOOOOOO badly, but Amherst is my strong second choice, so any opinions regarding both of those would be excellent.

Thanks again.

Bump!!!

Anybody else? Please for Brown ED?

Your URM and geographic location are HUGE hooks. Your ECs are great too.
That said, your stats are way below average for those schools. I think that your acceptances/rejections will be quite random and mostly based off of your hooks, so it’s hard to really chance you.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/814463-chances.html

Thanks for the honesty. Anybody else?

Any more feedback about Brown ED? What about NYU Stern RD? Thank you!

Hm being native american helps so much probably more so than being black plus you’re from oklahoma so that’s a plus as well. I believe you have a good shot at brown!

Thank you!! Anybody else? I’ll chance back!!
