So i got into UIUC College of Engineering and plan on going. Today because of stupid reasons i got a 0 on a big project in a stupid cybersecurity class and my grade dropped to a 65.
Right now the grade is tentative (hopefully she lets me hand it in late).

This year i haven't gotten any Cs and so far for the 3rd mp (i have 4 marking periods)

We are currently in the 3rd mp, SO if the worst case scenario plays out i end this MP with a D.

That means i would have ONE D in a stupid non core class and the rest of my grades would be all As and Bs (I would undoubtedly get an A the last MP). AND the year average for this class would be a 88.

Unless your school puts all MPs on the transcript, you’ll be okay if you pull the grade up next MP. Most schools only report semester grades. If you’re really worried you can find out what the colleges see. You’re probably fine.

However, if you don’t pull up the grade by the end of the year then yes, you are in danger of being rescinded.

I will deff get an A next mp but what I’m worried about is when the college gets my end of year transcript and they see one D, will I get rescinded?

Not entirely positive what you’re asking --

A “D” is not a good thing. Most likely you will not get rescinded (though I don’t work for UIUC, so what do I know), though you may have some explaining to do. I would talk to the teacher about handing in late and bringing up the grade if you can. Also, find out whether UIUC will even see a quarter grade as opposed to the grade for the entire course (nothing you can do if they will, but it may put your mind at ease.)
