Am I wrong or is there a question with 2 answers in Dec.3 SATII Math 2?

The question goes like:
Find a negative integer that 42 is less than its square.
A:-8
B:-7
C:-6
...
Anybody?

no buddy, the ask you which is the negative number whose squared number and the number gives 42

This question was on today’s SAT. SO you’re not allowed to discuss it yet. But there was another question, which had two correct answers in my opinion.

Answer was -6…lol.

Derp one wrong  and yeah you cant discuss it yet

Sent from my MB855 using CC App

***, I saw the 7, 42, and 49 and thought ooh 49-42=7. So I picked -7 -___-
Dang, missed 1.

@rraghuraman how is your answer wrong?

49-42 = 7, not -7. It’s asking for a negative integer.

The answer is -6. I remember that it is (-6)^2=36
36-42=-6
