1230wc: Congrats on the great FA. My son got early admission, and we are waiting for his FA package. When did you get yours? I am assuming it came by US postal service.

my finanical aid was amazing as well. i am so grateful for the new middle income initiative that come out! i cannot even express how surprised i was when i opened up my financial aid news. i haven't received my decision through the mail yet, but i checked my financial aid online. you can go to the stanford's admitted students site, click on the financial aid tab, and then click on a link to "axess." from there u can check out the financial aid. hope that helps u out gladmom

Oh yeah! Our aid is incredible too. The estimated package we got in December gave us nothing, so the enhancements are for real in our case. Thanks for the tip on how to find it online.

We are self-employed (farming) and I wasn't sure if they were going to add expenses back in etc.

No need to worry. Son received a terrific financial aid package!

We feel very blessed.

Yup. Stanford's aid is amazing--and it damn well better be, given it's $17 billion endowment (probably a few billion higher now).
