Amazing!

Yeah, I was in the top 12-15% area, I'm not quite sure. But I don't blame the rule. I knew what it took to get into UT, so I could have gotten fewer zeros on daily work in some of my classes and worked a little harder if I really wanted to get in that badly. But my SAT scores, 730 V 740 M, were a lot higher than the schools average, and I had pretty good EC (editor-in-chief of yearbook), so I thought I had a pretty good chance of getting in to the Liberal Arts college. Oh well.

I think UT puts a lot more thought into what your rank and GPA is than some of the other schools. Like for UTD, which I applied to as well, it felt like it was almost all SAT score for admission and scholarships.

Isn't 17k high for a Public State Univeristy?

tOSU (the other school I applied to) would be 18,600$ a year
Michigan is 18,632$
Berkeley: 21,538 (on-campus), 19,738 (off-campus housing)
UNC: 13,800 (I don't know how that is)
TAMU (Sucks): 16,167

It's the norm these days. Yeah, Berkeley out of state compared with instate tuition . . . ouch.

comes a valuable lesson: live in a state with a good state univerity. I really wish i lived somewhere other than south carolina. (Sorry, but I have something against SC. can't help it)

lol, Clemson rocks! Honestly, if I applied to one more school this year Clemson would have been the one :)

But yes, that's a good lesson. Stay outta Alaska :p

BMod, you disappoint me

GO *****! <---(it edited out c.o.c.k.s)
