Good luck to everyone tomorrow morning!

Right back at you! Guys, let’s DOMINATE! :p

Thanks mapletree7 for the tips and answers!
Just took the AMC 10A today! (Time-Zone difference in Korea)
Let’s say I could’ve done better. I got 15~17 problems correct.
Looking forward to hopefully improve on the AMC 10B!
The geometry problems were pretty hard!
And that weird pirate problem just made me stumble over.
But did anyone else think that this years was easier than last years?
Can some other people also confirm if I should just repeat the Volume 1 over and over.
Would that ensure me a 20+?

I’m hoping for four out of five right guesses

Does anyone have the answer key yet? PM me if so! I can provide proof if needed.

I just want to check my answers, does anyone have the answers to any of the problems?

I just finished the 12A in Cali. If anyone wants to discuss answers, PM me with proof.

First post, haha. I would like to check my answers with someone else too. Please pm me with proof.

Read the contest booklet cover:
“…the publication, reproduction or communication of the problems or solutions of the AMC 10/AMC 12 during the period when students are eligible to participate seriously jeopardizes the integrity of the results. Dissemination via copier, telephone, emial, internet, or media of any type during this period is a violation of the competition rules”

If the AMC office receives any information that the above private communications about the problems and solutions took place today, February 5, 2013 I will personally see to it that you score is invalidated, it is noted in our records that you violated the competition rules, you will never again participate in the AMC 10, AMC 12, AIME, USAJMO, USAMO, or MOSP. In addition, if necessary, I will investigate and invalidate all scores from your contest administration, per the policies and rules int he Teachers’ Manual.

This reminds me of Liam Neeson telling the European dude “I will find you. And I will kill you.” lol

okay, i guess we find out how we did tomorrow then lol…amc director just dropped the hammer

Does anyone know 12A answers? PM me plz

When does the answer key come out for the 12A?

guys did you not just read what the amc director said?

if you discuss amc answers today bad things will happen…i believe you can get the answers tomorrow

anyways I don’t think I did so hot so hopefully the B is a bit kinder!

Guys, you’re all right. Let’s believe everything we see on the internet.

With that being said, whether the AMCDirector is real or not is irrelevant, we should not be discussing the actual answers and questions. However, I remember the answer key with just the letters were posted (not of the questions or actual answers like numbers or whatever) last year relatively quickly. Is something of the like up yet?

I am getting the answers tomorrow in math class…not looking forward to it lol :(

it was hard…hopefully the B is nicer like last year

Just wait till 7:30 tomorrow, AOPS is hosting a math jam where they will work through each problem.

Actually, it’s your friends who will rat you out first. They will realize you or your correspondent are trying to gain an unfair advantage. They will notify me, usually anonymously. I take all reports seriously.

I’m real. Those who know how to use the internet will know how to communicate with me to verify it. However, I don’t want to answer questions from this forum, so I have set my preferences to not receive email form this forum. I am also not signing my name as I usually do on AoPS, but I’m just as real.

The AMC will post the answer keys on our website on Wed, Feb 6, about noon Central Time, after all administrations world-wide are finished.
