I got 109.5 on AMC 12. This is my fourth time taking AMC 12, and I always get between 100-110. No improvement over 3 years! :(

Are the answers available anywhere?

Yes, they are on the main website already.

Ugh. I got a 99 on the AMC 12, and everyone on AOPS thinks the cutoff is 100…I’m going to cry so much if that’s true. What do you guys think the cutoff for the AMC 12 will be?

Got an 82.5 on the 12 as predicted. I’ll try to break the hundred mark next time (though it’s probably unlikely).

108 trololol like a boss…pleasant surprise, got 3 right on guesses on last 9 questions.

i bet the cutoff will be <100 though…it usually is and i didn’t think it was that easy (maybe cuz i havent studied math in a whiles…)

I got a 112…
That’s not good enough.
Can someone please tell me the best way to prepare for the AMC 10B.
I really need help and want to get into the AIME.

91.5 on the 12A with 1 hour prep. +6 from last year’s 12A. I’m so pro.

Can’t believe i missed number one on the amc =(

Who’s taking Amc 10B? I am, and I will certainly not qualify for AIME. How are you guys practicing? I did a few old tests and scored not so high, mostly due to misunderstanding or misreading the questions. Sigh. It’s so frustrating when I saw the solutions to certain problems (esp. the ones before 15, they’re supposed to be fairly easy compare to the later problems) I have gotten wrong and thought “duh, how come I have never thought of that!” My weakness is probability, I suck at it.

2013 AMC 10/12
The AIME qualification score for the 2013 AMC 10 A is 108.0.
The AIME qualification score for the 2013 AMC 12 A is 88.5.

Wow. Both qualifying scores are shockingly low. If only I had studied… I was actually very close without having studied at all.

leggo AMC 12B! last chance for AIME before college apps for juniors O:

is there a good list of formulas for the AMC 12 somewhere?

How can the score is so low this year? I think each year the AMC 10 cut off line was either 120 or close to 120. Never heard it is so low. Did they miss type it?

^Nope. The AMC director posted the same scores on the Art of Problem Solving forums, too.

“is there a good list of formulas for the AMC 12 somewhere?”

Oh my God, I hope not. I can’t memorize a formula to save my life.

I’m surprised the cutoff scores were so low. I made it in with a 94.5 :D

the qualifying scores were beyond low…damn wat is this madness

I hope they’re just as low for the one on Wednesday.

… 12 A, I knew it was way rougher than the 12 B of last year! Okay, that’s motivation to work harder on the next one. And crosses fingers for less geometry problems in the lower numbers.
