AMC 12. 14 right, I guessed 4. If I guessed one right, I pass. I thought it was a lot harder than previous year’s though. Hopefully the cutoff stays low.

i think i got 10, and I only want to win in my school

Definitely easier than last year!
Took the AMC10, I answered 23 Questions found out that i made an uber noob error on one of the probs.

my guess is i got a 129.

My AP Stats teacher chose me and like 5 others from our class to take the AMC 12. It’s honestly a complete waste of time unless you really like math. I know I got 9 right for sure, possibly 10. I got so bored because I completely had no chance on the others. I just did it to get out of art.

Question 2 on AMC 12…rofl…

Questions 15-25…omgwthbbq brain explodes X_x

^ LOL I have nothing to say about question 2.

Question 2 was utter hilarity.

when do results come out

When can we openly discuss the questions? I konw that many of the same questions are used for later exams, so thinking not a good idea to even share answers in PM or email, but dunno what the rules are ?

^well tomorrow… we can discuss, there’s a math jam, and no they’re not used in later tests, we can take both tests and there obviously wont be repeats.

I signed up for this and completely disregarded what day it was. When an announcement this morning said, “All students taking the AMC must report to the cafeteria first block,” I -_______-'d.

It did end up being a waste of time; I answered only 12 questions and fried my brain. Having a history test right after wasn’t fun. It’s a good thing I’m more of a liberal arts person or I’d be screwed now!

hydzord: Isn’t your score 135? ( 22 right, 1 wrong, 2 skip -> 226 + 21.5 = 135) Congts!!

My son got 118.5 for AMC 10… so disappointed… worse… his school didn’t order AMC 10B. He has to take 12B.

can someone pm me their answers for 1-20

^It’s forbidden, but wait tomorrow, also there’s amc 10 and 12

darn, 130.5. so close to school winner, if i didn’t make a reallllyyyy stupid mistake on an easy question. T.T

lol took the AMC 10 for the last time…I’m actually in 10th grade this year. I tried for the do 18 problems right and leave the rest blank approach, but it turns out that (dang it) one of them is definitely wrong. Not completely sure about the others, but pretty certain they’re all right. So unless by some miracle the 2.5% cutoff score includes me, better hope for better on the B. I don’t see how anyone has any time at all this whole month…

I took the AMC 12A and answered 13 questions and got them all right and left the rest blank. So that would give me a 96…hopefully the cutoff is a little below 100 this year so I can pass on to AIME.

^^I know what you mean, hahahaha same exact situation, yeah I hope the 150% increase in AMC 10 qualifiers will help…

Can someone PM me the answers for 12A?

@apoc

last year was 88.5, so I think you’re solid.
