Hey guys... i am a sophomore and hopefully will be taking the AMC 10 this following school year. Is there anything I can do to help be prepared and qualify for AIME?

Get the Art of Problem Solving books (start with volume 1, but definitely get both if you want to do well on AIME). Also take the released AMC 10 exams under timed conditions and learn the concepts you didn’t get the first time around

Yeah, just take the tests on AOPS and really look at the solutions for the problems you missed. Also look at the AMC 12s - they have some of the same problems, but also have other questions that are harder.

Thank you for the suggestion…Do you think buying the Solution Set book is necessary in addition to volume 1?

I guess it depends. If you’re a complete noob, then you should probably get it, but if you think you can learn the concepts relatively easily then you’ll probably be okay.
