AMC Scores...

<p>Hi, a junior from an international school but with American passport.
I scored a 81 on the AMC 12 A this year... I was pretty sad when I calculated my score, and even more sad when the cutoff for AIME is announced: 88.5 .....
I also took the AMC 12 B today, and I think I still around the same grade when I compared the answers with my classmates.</p>

<p>My AMC 10 A from 10th grade was 109.5, not a good score, but amazing enough to be second high score in our school!!!</p>

<p>Just wondering, should I submit these scores to MIT/Caltech despite how low they are?</p>

<p>Any time you have a score for these exams, absolutely you should report them. They will not hurt you and while you performance wasn’t stellar, it does show that you are interested in trying and enjoy math enough to take those tests :-).</p>
