AMCAS - submission problem

<p>I tried to submit my primary application, but a message popped up that told me I needed to complete all 9 sections before submission.</p>

<p>The section only section that is incomplete is letters of recommendation section. But, it says at the top of the page that the letter of rec section is not required for primary application submission.</p>

<p>I have requested the letters be sent, but my school does not release recommendations until August. </p>

<p>I'm assuming I'm receiving the message in error, since it does explicitly say that the recs don't need to be received at the time of submission. I'm confused...has anyone else encountered a similar problem?</p>

<p>take a look at the section…all you need to do is enter the names of the people writing you recs, you don’t need to submit the actual recs</p>

<p>yea, you submit recommendations with secondaries or at some schools if invited for an interview. however, i believe amcas has some sort of centralized way of sending letters out starting this year, not sure exactly how it works.</p>

<p>ah, I figured it out!</p>

<p>I had already provided the information, but needed to hit the “done” button at the bottom of the letter of rec section.</p>
