<p>The AAPSS has just announced its new class of Fellows for 2009. These five political and social scientists were chosen for their outstanding contributions. It is one of the highest forms of recognition within the realm of political science.</p>

<p>This year two Princeton graduates were among the five, Alan Blinder '67, a current professor of economics at Princeton and a former Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board and Joseph Nye '58, a senior professor at Harvard's Kennedy School.</p>

<p>Of the five scholars selected this year all are currently faculty members at prominent institutions: two at Harvard (including Nye), and one each at Princeton, Stanford and UPenn.</p>
