American, Chances?

<p>Hey everyone! I'm an American citizen wondering what my chances are at Mcgill.
GPA UW: 3.4ish W:3.96
All Honors since freshman year, taken all of the "enriched" math courses (level above honors) Very rigorous course-load</p>

<p>BC Calc: 5
Physics B: 3
This year's APs: Chem, English, Stats </p>

<p>ACT: 33
SAT I: 780 CR 760 Math 620 Writing (ughh) Total: 2150
SAT II: Math II: 780
Physics: 670
Literature: 690 </p>

<p>Summer Work: Took Neurobiology and Psychology of Addiction at Harvard Summer School: Received 8 college credits and passed both classes with a B+
Took Health Science Honors at Tufts University, received four college credits and got a B+</p>

<p>I applied to the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts. Mcgill is my dream school.

<p>I’m worried because I do not have all of the specific grade requirements for McGill. But I took all honors courses, do you think they will consider that? I know they tend to favor standardized tests also, and I am pretty far above in that sense</p>

<p>I have almost exactly the same stats as you, and I’m applying to the same school</p>

<p>3.95W, like 3.5 uw – very rough course load. Three 5’s and a 4, in 5 more AP’s this year.
33 ACT and similar SATII’s</p>

I hope they arent tooo strict about the minima. Does anyone know if they are? And if they weight honors courses?</p>

<p>I have similar stats too 3.8 uw 4.3 w and a 31 ACT but i am worried too as the minima from desautels says A- in pre calc and i got a B in honors pre calc sophomore year and a B- in AP calc (Even though i got a 5 on the AP test) and an A in AP stats this semester… i take all the hardest classes so I hope they don’t take honors pre calculus too seriously… i wish you all the best of luck</p>

<p>I think if your SAT scores are above the minima and you passed all the AP exams, then you should be fine :)</p>

<p>I got a 640 on one of my SAT II’s (French w/listening). just because this is 10 points below the minimum, does that mean I’m not gonna be considered?? :((</p>
