If you will be 17 or under when you finish school in Egypt next year, I wonder if you might consider coming to the US for a year and living with your aunt and uncle in California, while attending a US high school or perhaps a community college. It would be the equivalent of a gap year - but the advantage would be that you probably could establish residency in California that way, and you could take some of the advanced courses that you are concerned about missing. I asked about your age because you might feel out of place if you are older than your classmates -- but if you are 17 you will be the age that most American kids are when starting 12th grade.</p>
