Does anyone know if the gov't will give grants for American students going to school in the UK? I know I can apply for a lot of scholarships in the US (and have done so) but are there scholarship and financial aid programs for Americans in Britain? I'm applying to Oxford, particularily their honors Economics and Management program.

Only if you have also lived in the EU for at least 3 years prior to your admission (maybe 4 years), for purposes other than education. In other words, only if your parents have paid at least 3 years of taxes.
