<p>How hard is the American Government Placement test?
If I take the American Government placement test, do i still have to take the Texas Government placement test?</p>

<p>I believe you can take the CLEP if you didn’t take the AP exam, and I believe you still do take the Texas Government test.</p>

<p>The only times you don’t take the Texas Government test is if you take government at UT or another Texas college or else you take government out of state and take the 1-hour Texas course through University Extension.</p>

<p>I’d heard you could study Texas Govt on your own and pass the test with no problems. That gives you Gov 105? The US Govt AP test only gives you Gov 310L so you still have to take Gov 310K? However, you only need 6 hours but that gives you a total of 7? Or am I totally wrong?</p>
