American University for pre-med?

<p>My D, a high school junior, visited American University this fall and was favorably impressed. She liked the campus, the location, the size, and the atmosphere. However, for all its virtues, I have heard that it is not particularly strong in the sciences compared to some other liberal arts colleges, and my D is interested in pre-med. Does anyone have knowledge or experience of American for pre-med?</p>
