American university help!

<p>I would reeeeeeeeeally like to go to transfer to American University in Washington D.C. Here are my credentials.</p>

2 Recommendations
Extra Curric. (Habitat For Humanity, Helped Create Charity organization)
I can write a great essay
My uncle went there (Alumni)
No standing convictions at school
Ambitious Spirit!
I take 2 honors couses every semester
reasonable SAT/ACT (Not outstanding I dont have numbers with me)
Very interested!

<p>well what college do you go to? what year are you in? what were your hs stats?</p>

<p>i dont see the "other things" in your app making up for much although your gpa might not hold you back as much as you think depending on the school you go to...i don't know if having "no standing convictions" is really a credential per se...err...i dont think your uncle graduating from american will qualify you for alumnus status...</p>

<p>Im in my second year and I go to University of Arkansas my high school records wont count if im in my second year</p>

<p>make sure about that. do they require your hs transcript? if so, it will matter. it may have diminished importance, but could be a factor nonetheless...</p>

<p>If it matters it wont be bad my high school grades were like a 3.2 as well I just don't know if a 3.2 will get me into AU.</p>
