<p>I got the e-mail on March 21st from American University saying that my application was complete and that I'll get a response in 4-6 weeks.</p>
<p>I thought this was weird because the school had confirmed that it had received all of my materials by March 1st. That's besides the point anyway.</p>
<p>I applied exactly on March 1st. Has anyone heard back yet? And, if so, what was the turn around time on the notification?</p>

<p>Yep I got my acceptance packet today! Uhm I believe I turned in my stuff the last week of Feb.</p>

<p>I turned in the common app a few days before March 1st (maybe Feb. 27th?), and all of my other materials had been sent near the beginning of February. The prospective student portal says that all of my materials are in, but I still haven’t received anything from American at all (not even anything saying that my application is complete). I guess it’s just sort of a crapshoot – I know a couple people got in near the beginning of March (though they probably turned in their materials way earlier than me).</p>
<p>Give them a call, yo. I’ve talked to them several times the past few weeks and they’re always more than helpful.</p>
<p>I turned in my application perhaps mid feb. got an e-mail saying I was accepted perhaps three weeks later? still not sure if I want to go there though…</p>
<p>Blerg I hope they send a financial aid package soon. lol</p>
