Hi, I was recently accepted to and plan on attending the American University of Paris. I am curious about their policy of recension of admissions based on senior year grades (which they will receive later). I know this policy varies from college to college--does anyone have any insight ? Has anyone ever heard of someone getting their admissions rescinded from this particular university ? Thanks !

Not entirely related, but I am curious, what kind of scores did you have to get accepted there?

I had ACT 33, SAT 2180, and a GPA of 3.32 from a private school. However, AUP apparently emphasizes “fit” the most of all–they want the kind of student, and person, that will be able to survive in Paris alone and contribute to the international environment at the school. I think I fit that well; I took two foreign languages throughout high school and spent the summer after my sophomore year studying Spanish in Salamanca–I emphasized these things in my application. I hope that helps !

I would not worry too much about getting an admission rescinded. The school accepts way over 60 percent of the students and you appear to be solidly in its top quartile:

As it is the case for many schools in Europe that target US students, their biggest hurdle for students is the ability to pay the fees.
