Mine says request deferral as well.
I was able to click print. The screen just shows a bunch of commonapp info like activities, race, etc. It doesnât look like any hints of admission. @izrk02 For the inspect element you 1) right click 2) view page source 3) command F 4) type in submit enrollment deposit
so do we think rolled over is a good thing or bad thing? mine says yes.
portal is down???
@anon19e0290 No need to freak out, itâs normal. Itâs not down, itâs under maintenance.
Rolled over might have nothing to do with admissions since all of that information is more just Common App info.
And what about request deferral? Anyone have a clue what that means here?
@percussionboymo Request deferral means that you would like to delay your enrollment to another term. Itâs not exactly an indicator of anything. I have it on a portal for all of my other schools where decisions havenât come out yet.
Ah, ok. Thank you. My daughter was concerned about what that means. Considering that the acceptance rate for RD is far far lower than for ED I and ED II, the chances are slim for her but she is in love so we have our fingers (and toes) crossed
And how about, âCounselor interested in learning more about the common appâ ?
@percussionboymo Itâs a standard thing. I have friends who were both accepted and rejected from American last year who had that.
Thank you.
An email was just sent out saying decisions will come out next week. No official date.
Does everyone have the âWe are pleased you have accepted admission. Please submit your enrollment deposit paymentâ bit on page source?
@stellafio I donât think anything on the âpage sourceâ means anything. The websites have code commands for certain things⊠Iâm sure everyone has that
@Stellafio It doesnât mean anything. Itâs a pre-loaded coding. If you look, thereâs coding for things such as deferral requests and deposits, which we donât have access to as applicants.
I think the best thing we can do now is wait another week.
Hey everyone, I know weâre all trying to decipher what the portal glitch could be telling us concerning our admissions decision, at any rate, I screen recorded my page and slowed it down to see what was what. Does anyone have a âyesâ rolled over, and â1â under start year?
I have a âyesâ rolled over and a â0â under start year not sure what that means
@smiley4145 Okay got it.
I thought that the request deferral pop up would point towards a positive decision but having reread this thread, I realize everyone has it so it likely does not mean anything. Iâm still curious to know what start year means and if anyone else has a 1 under theirsâŠ
