<p>They have two ENTIRELY different campus feels. Which one is better will be personal preference. GWU is highly urban, doesn’t feel like a college campus at all (except for the tiny Mt Vernon campus, which is 15 min away by bus). American has more of traditional campus feel, but isn’t so close to where the action is in DC. If you can’t visit, I’d spend some time poking around the websites to see the visual differences.
