The nation's elite colleges these days include more than Harvard, Yale and Princeton. Why? It's the tough competition for all the top students. That means a range of schools are getting fresh bragging rights.

agreed. and nikkei no one like UC schools, there not real. University of Virginia is a real school, UCLA is not, in matter of fact, all UC schools are, except for Berkely.

no i hate, i hate them all, there not real schools, im ****ed. ill concede, UCLA is good school, but it isnt by any measure presitgous. berkley yes, LA nooooo and never will be. real schools are on the east coast. long live the east, and may god punish the pot smoking west!!

Where's Duke, Georgetown, and Berkeley on that list? I see Duke and Georgetown being listed as "rival" schools, but why aren't they on their top 25?

These rankings are getting out of hand imo. There should be more than rankings made through biased methods that determines a person's choice for college (sadly though many people use rankings to make their choices for them).

Abe: Stanford, Caltech, Claremont Colleges, and Cal are as good (or in some cases better) than the Ivies, Williams, Swrathmore, MIT, Georgetown, and Duke.

Tell the people who went to UCSB, UCI, and the rest of the UC schools there diplomas mean nothing since they didn't get an education from a real university.

I doubt the ranking of the new 25 ivies was meant to offend or cause any confusion. There ARE schools out there that need recognition for their achievements. I think Harvard, Yale, Brown, Princeton, etc. have been the talk of the town for too long.

Anybody who's is anybody, who knows schools has obviously been in this country long enough to acurately decide. Also, a lack of grammar really helps in determining what is, or isnt a good school. Now, let's all concede to that.
