“Worst Ivy League School: Cornell University”

ouch…

Notice they chose to rank the worst colleges based on gender, religion but not race. In this politically correct society, could you imagine if they ranked the worst traditionally black college.

Before you flame me, I am just noticing the omission. If you can rank the Ivy by first to last then surely there is a best to worst of all college types.

By “worst party school,” do they really mean “best” party school?

I think they should have ranked historically black colleges. There are some pretty bad ones. Although honestly, I don’t think any of them are anything special. Of course, PC says I’m allowed to say this because I’m black. Stupid.

I was wondering the same thing. Do they mean colleges where people try to party but fail miserably?

“Worst Christian School: Liberty University”

Uh, are you kidding me? Apparently these people have never heard of Pensacola Christian College or Bob Jones University…

^^LOL maybe it’s just that those schools are so bad you can’t even consider them universities

“Worst of the Big Ten: Michigan State University”

There is no such thing as ‘worst’ in the Big Ten!! :P

There are lots of subcategories they didn’t rank. I wouldn’t say race was an especiallty glaring omission. Not a big deal.

I agree :)

“^^LOL maybe it’s just that those schools are so bad you can’t even consider them universities”

Haha. I guess so. I lived in Pensacola and knew people that went to PCC. Trust me, it’s a prison. The same goes for Bob Jones… and on top of all that, they’re not accredited. My old youth pastor went to Bob Jones back in his legalistic days, and he can’t get a job outside of a church because his degree isn’t recognized by anyone.

I agree, Sparkeye!

It’s simply because some people on CC have ‘race on the brain’ syndrome. Can’t get over it, can’t get under it, can’t go around it.

I think “Worst Party School” means the best parties. I’ve heard that San Diego State has some real ragers.

Yeah i think the worst part refers to academics, SDSU is a huge party school but terrible for academics is what they’re saying.

I’m surprised. MSU just got named the alternative to the Ivy league in Newsweek.

^ Newsweek also called Cornell the hottest Ivy.

Cornell rising senior D already has a job offer that will pay her, considering salary, signing bonus and likely yr. end bonus, in the six figures, or very close to, her 1st yr out of undergraduate school. Hardly think that is an ouch!

^^ OoOo what is she going to be doing?? she should pass the info to all of us CCers :)

Finance. Specifically working at a BB in NYC.

I really want to know which school has the lamest party scene. Probably someone like Bob Jones, but who is the worst non-religious party school?

This is really old.
