Amherst and Williams?

<p>I'm contemplating these two colleges and I was wondering how their history, political science, and international relations departments stack up. I know they've gotten VERY high ratings on the college ranking lists. </p>

<p>Also, I lean somewhat to the right of the political spectrum and I've heard that Amherst is very liberal, is this true?</p>
