<p>Listen to @ronlo91. Have a little faith. Just a little. Or at least don’t think about the what-if’s. I don’t have any faith at all but I’m trying my hardest not to think about any of this emotionally until I know what my options really are. Don’t stress over it when you don’t even know yet. Obviously that’s easier said than done, though.</p>

<p>@alyssa that was beautifully put. That’s exactly how I feel. You can’t stress over things you have no control over. I try to keep myself occupied by studying and by all the work I have to do before the semester ends. </p>

<p>@ronlo: Thank you! And exactly. I have SO much to do it’s ridiculous. The semester ends in two and a half weeks and by that point I’ll (hopefully) have heard back from everywhere I applied, so if I can spend from now until then focusing on finishing the semester, I won’t have time to think about the what-if’s until I know what my options are!</p>
<p>Now, if only that would work. It’s a great idea in theory but in practice, I still remain laying awake every night agonizing over what might happen and procrastinating on schoolwork as a typical student would do. xD</p>
<p>Also, @ronlo: no, you’re not the only one. Not at all. I also refresh my emails every two minutes. It’s bad.</p>
<p>Easier said than some is exactly the case! Once the work load ends and I have time to reflect/think… It’s game over!</p>

<p>Wouldn’t it be cool if they stalked this thread and saw how eager and damn awesome we are so they admitted us all? And then we could all become best friends and be the face of the school as these awesome, Amherst-loving students and all of the faculty and administration would love us because we’d make the school look great (though they definitely don’t need us for that, they’ve already succeeded) and we’d be stellar students and contributors to society.</p>

<p>I’ve been re-reading my essays more or less every day–trying to get a sense of what sort of psychological profile I presented; trying to get a sense of what the committee might think.</p>
<p>No way jyoung!!! I have been doing that everyday. I’m just hoping my essay shows how different I am than the average applicant and I am granted the opportunity to attend the school!</p>

<p>Yeah I called today to check something and the lady was like oh your file’s not there they’re being reviewed by the deans…I was like ah.</p>
<p>Then the lady I spoke with also said they had a large number of transfer applicants this year. I think more than usual.</p>
<p>As stupid as this sounds, I hope that means they’ll accept more :).</p>
