Amherst College Regular Decision 2018

Ugh mine says something about not having any messages…but I’ve been given no financial aid from some other schools so perhaps I just didn’t get any? Who knows.

I don’t see a financial aid widget… How does it look like?

@book05 - top left hand corner, titled “My Financial Aid”

I must be retarted. I only see tabs labeled my Amherst, Announcements, Intranet, and my Profile

Right below the tabs. On the very left.

@AmericanHopee … what happens when you click on the link?

I just had to add the “My Financial Aid” tab, it was never there. It says I do not have any financial aid messages. Really expecting a rejection.

Mine just says my application is complete… Don’t know how to feel about this.

Well it seems we have lots of different messages…doesn’t financial aid calculate an award for everybody because the offices are separate?

Mine is totally weird … says “2014: Application Incomplete, 2014: Award Info Available” - that’s contradictory.

Well I just checked my financial aid portal and apparently I didn’t fill out the “Non-Tax Filer Statement-Student” so I’m not sure if that’s important or not.

@satsarecool - I dunno, I mean Dartmouth really gave away admissions this year by asking for tax returns from specific applicants, most of whom ended up being admitted (there’s a thread on cc about this). So that shows a certain degree of shortlisting. Whether Amherst does something similar, i don’t know.

Sorry, by REMINDING specific applicants that their financial aid applications were incomplete, and they were yet to submit tax returns.

well I guess we’ll see

Mine says incomplete as well because they are requiring forms we do not have. I’ll call them eventually.

I’m worried it spells rejection

Rejected by 10 colleges, already used to it. Amherst won’t be any different

Lost for words. Accepted.

I was accepted too!! I’m amazed!

Where do you see decisions??
