I got rejected, but I’m totally okay with this. I’m going to Patrick Henry instead, and I’m so excited. CONGRATS to everyone who got in!!

Waitlisted, 34 ACT, rank 1, decent extracurrics, Asian and white, went to DIVOH. Accepted Colby, Carleton, Wellesley, Swarthmore, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Pittsburgh, and Maryland. Rejected HYPS and Columbia. I think I’ll stay on, but I’m very satisfied with my options.

Waitlisted. 2310 SAT, 4.25 W, white, solid extracurriculars. I’ve already paid the deposit at Bowdoin, which was the goal all along, so I didn’t accept the place on the wait list. Congrats to everyone accepted and good luck if you’re on the wait list!

Waitlisted - 35 ACT, Asian-American, pretty solid extracurriculars in my opinion. I plan on staying on the waitlist - guess it’s just some more waiting for a lot of us! Amherst is my top choice though so I wish I had received better news today, but I guess that’s how a lot of people are feeling.

Waitlisted…2380 SAT and 3.85 gpa. Can’t say I’m not a bit disappointed, accepted at WUSTL, Rice, Wesleyan, safeties…but I’ll remain on waitlists at Amherst, Williams, and Brown.

Congratulations to all who got in!

@alaink I got an email saying I was admitted as well - for international students and US citizens living abroad. I recieved an email right after saying that the notification was an error.

I think it’s an especially bittersweet feeling because it’s April 1… I’m a waitlisted applicant and it seems like they didn’t send it to rejected students.

My received the same erroneous email on April 1st. He has now received a second apology from the Dean of Admissions. Such a very horrible experience for my son, as he was in class and didn’t read the second email for a couple of hours. (And he had just read the first line of the first email, which stated “Congratulations of your admittance to Amherst.”)
