<p>I like Slipper's list.</p>
<p>Every professional [business] recruiter, as well as Deans of graduate/law/medical admissions, know that Amherst College is excellent. Hard to get into, thorough in its academics, and not easy to graduate from.</p>
<p>Once again, I can't believe some of the nonsense that's passed along as fact on CC forums.</p>
<p>Slipper's list is pretty much dead on.</p>
<p>I'm not sure where slipper's list is from, but Stanford does better at grad placement then Dartmouth, Amherst, Brown, and Columbia. Plus Williams has been deadlocked with Amherst in every graduate admission and recruitment statistic I've seen.</p>

<p>If you didn't notice, he's just comparing Amherst to Ivies.</p>
