<p>I applied before the priority deadline as well, and got an acceptance email. Perhaps if you submitted afterwards, that would explain not receiving an email yet.</p>
<p>I also got my acceptance letter yesterday! For future applicants - don’t worry if you aren’t 1st gen or low income - Im not either and I got in.</p>

<p>I’m going in October. For the record, I’m not 1st gen or low income and I’m ORM.</p>
<p>I just got the email, I completely forgot that I had applied, and I got accepted! I’m not first gen or low income, but Amherst is one of my top schools, so I’m so grateful that I got in!</p>
<p>D did not get in - she is URM, but not 1st generation of low income. I suspect she didn’t get in because we live close enough to drive up for a visit (about 2 hours), It’s one of her top 3, so we will probably arrange our own visit during classes.</p>

<p>@xmsamurai I’m getting there by plane! I’m from Ohio, so it’s one of the easiest ways to get to Massachusetts.</p>
