Do you think early writes will come out soon?
Also had anyone called to try and confirm a release date for early writes/RD decisions?
I think they may coming out soon if coaches are making phone calls, but I agree with OHMOMof2…I suspect the official date will be March 25th.
What are our estimates for RD decisions?
My S got admittance today. Letter was online but no email notification.

Just checked my portal… I got in!! FREAKING OUT!! 
They said they only notify a few people this early so don’t be concerned if you don’t have it.
I thought early writes came through the mail? Were these early writes?
@nsliyromanov I think so, because it says “I’m contacting you before the established notification date to give you ample opportunity to consider Amherst as you make your college choice.”

I found the address. I haven’t got any updates, so I’ll have to wait until the end of March.
Hearing of the early decisions is very interesting. Our college counselor called to confirm and was advised that no decisions have been released.
Congratulations! Last year these slightly early admits were so that particular students could be brought to an accepted students weekend, Amherst makes the travel arrangements so gives the students a heads-up so they can reserve the weekend. Last year I think this was a week before regular decisions were released.
That might mean regular decisions will be released early, maybe by the 18th or so?
I got an early acceptance too, does anyone know if this was a mistake or not yet? cause I just re-read my essay and …I’m feeling less sure lol
It wasn’t a mistake, it is normal to do early early writes.
